I finally did it

I did all the things

One of the only things I really wanted to do was have my wife stay home with our son and when I stumbled on affiliates and blogging and SEO, I was hooked.

I struggled when I first started because I was always looking for the “hack” that would make revenue faster.

But I slowly realized that I was looking for the hack because I was constantly AVOIDING the work that would create the revenue and that was actually creating the content and writing.

So the cheat code to being successful is execution and creating content online.

So here are 4 steps to write blog posts faster so you can earn more faster.

1: Outline Your Post⁣

There's nothing worse than staring at a blank document and not knowing where to start. That's why you need to come up with an outline. An outline will help your post make more sense, which in turn will help you write better articles faster.⁣

Some tricks to writing an outline is simply to break your story and topi into sections.

What is your main topic and then break down the steps to explain your thought. Then go in and fill in the gaps with paragraphs.

Now you are writing short mini-posts rather than one big one.

𝟐: 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭⁣

Make sure you know what you are writing about. If you don't, it will take way longer than necessary, and the post won't be as good. If you're not an expert in a given topic, 𝘙𝘌𝘚𝘌𝘈𝘙𝘊𝘏.

This is easy; the more you know about your subject, the less research you will need to do when it comes to writing.

If you know your subject as well, doing the research will not seem like work because you’d probably be doing it anyway.

Listen to podcasts, YouTube videos, and Twitter. wherever you’d normally be getting information and become part of the community.

3: Set a Time Limit⁣
Set a timer for 1-2 hours and do not exceed that time limit. You'll be surprised how fast you can write an article in an hour or so simply because you are holding yourself to a timer. ⁣

I like to use Brain.fm and a pomodoro timer. (Look it up, it’s interesting.) That way, you can concentrate your effort on working.

For those of you with children, try to find time early in the morning or late at night. Consistent effort is better than none at all (or conversely, a ton of work and then no upkeep.)

𝟒: 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐁𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭⁣
Perfectionism is the enemy of good writing. If you get hung up on every single word and sentence, then time will just continue to tick away while you try to fix a few words.⁣

The blog posts don’t have to be perfect. Just good enough.

The cool thing about blogging is you can always go back and add to it. Unlike a video or podcast. So worst case, come back and update later.
