A New Idea, Local Newsletters

In partnership with

Seeing all the awesome success people have had with Local Newsletters, I have a ton of ideas for starting one myself. I’m bending to peer pressure.

The beauty of being on a legacy Beehiiv plan is that I can run 3 publications (or newsletters) all separately from each other.

This is AWESOME, and I have a free slot. So, I may as well put it to good use.

So, I have settled on an idea for a local newsletter, but I need help fleshing it out.

Have you caught my idea yet?

For some reason, in my local area, there are TONS of breweries and wineries.

Since I frequent quite a few of them regularly, I may as well make some pocket changes to them as well.

I don’t know if this idea will pan out, but I’m willing to throw a bone at it and see what happens.

In the worst case, I build up a list of a couple thousand and can then sell the business to a local brewery.

But here lies the problem: I simply don’t have time to run it all by myself, so I have enlisted a friend to help me build it and given him part of the company.

He’s “new” to entrepreneurship, but he’s hungry and wants to learn.

Here is the best part about this whole thing… breweries is just the idea, that idea can be replaced with anything.

A local newsletter can cover a variety of topics, or you can niche down and talk about one thing. So, even if the brewery idea didn’t work, I could use the same knowledge for another local niche.

With strength in numbers, we can make anything happen.

What do you think of the idea? Too niche? Just right?
