My New Obsession šŸ˜

In partnership with

I appreciate everyone's interest in my newsletter acquisition story.

Iā€™ve had a ton of people reaching out asking how they can do something similar and I have an answer for you.

But first, real quick, I teased last week that I would be buying a course to help me with brand deals; well, I made the investment.

And I must say, I am BLOWN AWAY with how amazing Justinā€™s course is. I was inspired to post this after being on the inside for just 30 minutes.

If youā€™ve been following me for a while you know that I have been a niche site guy for quite some time.

My goal was to build niche sites with the idea that I would sell the blog later down the line. That business model worked very well for a few years.

But once I had some capital to invest into businesses and the stupidly long time the Google Sandbox would hold a site hostage was way too long, I decided to ā€œskipā€ the sandbox and buy established blogs that were underperforming.

This worked out even better than before because I could literally flip sites within weeks or months rather than a year or more.

But then something happened that I didnā€™t expect. I got decently good at vetting businesses before acquiring them.

Not to say that every business deal Iā€™ve made has worked out great, but more ended up profitable than didnā€™t.

Now, I can use those same skills and apply them to acquire any business, and that is what Iā€™m doing with newsletters.

I acquired this last newsletter from a former colleague in the industry that has given up the ghost when it comes to his business and the list was just sitting there.

So if you have friends in the industry, especially if they are solopreneurs, then reach out and see if you can help take it off their hands.

Iā€™m actually going to reach out to other former colleagues that have stopped with their businesses and see if they would be willing to give up their courses for a fee or partnership.

The thing I want to make clear is all you have to do is be creative and see where you can help. You can also build the list from scratch. I did that as well with this same newsletter and got it to 600+ subscribers in about 30 days.

I am thinking of putting together a community of people that want to build newsletters and side businesses. There will be a fee associated with it, not sure how much, but it wonā€™t be crazy.

Let me know if youā€™d be interested. I am becoming obsessed with newsletter growth and would love to have a mastermind of sorts where we all can grow together.
