My One-Person Business (that Works)

The biggest limiting factor that I have with any business is the amount of time it would need to get off the ground.

Things like blogging and YouTube can be done with one-person, but it’s quite tough.

Writing all the content, or shooting and editing all the video is tough for a beginner.

Newsletters…

I came across this video by Brett Malinowski, who talks about this business model that you can start today for $0.

It’s a good YouTube title, but it’s also super accurate in regards to newsletters.

If you have been following me for any time, you know that I started off as a niche site guy who recently made a hard shift to newsletters and YouTube.

So far it’s going pretty well… but newsletter growth and monetization is a little aloof.

But I believe I’ve put together a pretty lethal combination that is working.

Most of it involves using Beehiiv and Sparkloop. I’m able to pay to get people on the list and make money from the ones that are joining, canceling out my use acquisition cost.

I’m basically getting paid to grow my list.

Brett explains it quite well in the video above and I will eventually make my own once I get a few more wins under my belt, but I’m excited about the entire process and extremely bullish on newsletters.
